Savor the Moment (Bride Quartet #3)

New Love takes the cake in the third novel in Nora Roberts's new Bride Quartet-in a stunning French flap edition
Wedding baker Laurel McBane is surrounded by romance working at Vows wedding planning company with her best friends Parker, Emma, and Mac. But she's too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that their clients seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker's older brother Delaney, on whom she's had a mega-crush since childhood.
But some infatuations last longer than others, and Laurel is convinced that the Ivy League lawyer is still out of her reach. Plus, Del is too protective of Laurel to ever cross the line with her-or so she thinks. When Laurel's quicksilver moods get the better of her-leading to an angry, hot, all-together mind-blowing kiss with Del-she'll have to quiet the doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever...

My Review

Loved it!!! Another great installment in this Quartet! Laurel is the most prickly of the friends, she has a quick temper and also a quick wit. I found her to be very strong and her clashes with Del were great. Del is just so sweet and generous and selfless! I did love their story and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series, Parker's story, but the sad part is I will then be done with this lovely series!

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer 4 star Review

Eclipse (Twilight, #3)

Eclipse (Twilight #3)

Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob —- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

My Review
Okay I liked this installment of the Twilight series more than New Moon, the characters of Edward and Jacob were more developed in this book and I really enjoyed reading about Jasper's back story. The action was great, the biggest flaw this book has, actually so far this whole series has is; Blubbering Bella! I mean for Heaven's sake am I really supposed to believe she has not one but two strong male leads that find her irresistible???  seriously with all the crying, whining, hysterics, manipulation, selfish. . .augghhh!

Heartless by Sara Shepard 5 star review

Heartless (Pretty Little Liars, #7)

Heartless (Pretty Little Liars #7)

by Sara Shepard (Goodreads Author)

The newest installment in Sara Shepard’s bestselling Pretty Little Liars series is packed with juicy drama and delicious surprises that will keep readers guessing to the very end.
Hanna, Aria, Emily, and Spencer have been telling some outrageous tales; only, the proof always seems to go missing. The friends insist they’re telling the truth, but all of Rosewood thinks they’re just out for attention—and nobody likes a girl who cries wolf. So when the big bad killer comes after them, will anyone believe the girls. . . or will they be the next to disappear?

My Review
This was a very exciting installment in the series. Alot of secrets were revealed, but there are still quite a few that need to be explained. Also another great cliffhanger of an ending. You would think, though, with all the money these girls have, that surely one of them would have thought to buy a clue, hello???? A is almost becoming my favorite character even though, he or she is evil, they are clearly the smartest of this bunch!

Killer by Sara Shepard - 5 star review

Killer (Pretty Little Liars, #6)

Killer (Pretty Little Liars #6)

by Sara Shepard (Goodreads Author)

In picture-perfect Rosewood, Pennsylvania, ash-blond highlights gleam in the winter sun and frozen lakes sparkle like Swarovski crystals. But pictures often lie— and so do Rosewood's four prettiest girls.
Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily have been lying ever since they became friends with beautiful Alison DiLaurentis. Ali made them do terrible things—things they had to keep secret for years. And even though Ali was killed at the end of seventh grade, their bad-girl ways didn't die with her.
Hanna's on a mission to corrupt Rosewood's youth, starting with a very attractive sophomore. Aria's snooping into her boyfriend's past. Spencer's stealing— from her family. And pure little Emily's abstaining from abstinence.
The girls should be careful, though. They thought they were safe when Ali's killer was arrested and A's true identity was finally revealed. But now there's a new A in town turning up the heat. And this time Rosewood is going to burn

My Review;
Another great installment in this series. This time there was more action and the ending was another great cliffhanger. I did feel myself getting jumpy because the girls kept seeing or hearing someone around them at all times. I still have trouble understanding how a couple of the girls (Hannah and Emily) continue to make the same mistake over and over, don't they ever learn????

Wicked by Sara Shepard 5 stars

Wicked (Pretty Little Liars, #5)

Wicked (Pretty Little Liars #5)

by Sara Shepard (Goodreads Author)

In idyllic Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four very pretty girls just can't help but be bad. . . .

Hanna will do anything to be Rosewood's queen bee. Spencer's digging up her family's secrets. Emily can't stop thinking about her new boyfriend. And Aria approves a little too strongly of her mom's taste in men.
Now that Ali's killer is finally behind bars, the girls think they're safe. But those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. And they should know by now that I'm always watching. . . .
 My Review
Okay this book in the series is not one of my favorite but I still give it a 5 because it's still very difficult to put down once you start reading it. It's just the characters, especially Hannah, were really getting on my nerves with this one. I mean just how dumb are these girls suppose to be? Not only are they making dumb mistakes, but some of them are making the same dumb mistakes, I'm looking in your direction Hannah, that they've already made. Are we to believe that they never learn?

And please don't even get me started on the adults in this book, I swear every parent of these girls needs to charged with neglect at the very least, some of them, actually most of them, no really ALL of them act more immature then their children and in this case that is saying alot!

Still the storyline is strong and this series is just very, very readable!

Bed of Roses by Nora Roberts - 5 stars!

Bed of Roses (Bride Quartet, #2) View a preview of this book online

Bed of Roses (Bride Quartet #2)

Love blooms in the second novel in Nora Roberts's celebrated Bride Quartet series.
As little girls MacKensie, Emma, Laurel, and Parker spent hours acting out their perfect make believe "I do" moments. Years later their fantasies become reality when they start their own wedding planning company to make every woman's dream day come true. With perfect flowers, delicious desserts, and joyful moments captured on film, Nora Roberts's Bride Quartet shares each woman's emotionally magical journey to romance.
In Bed of Roses, florist Emma Grant is finding career success with her friends at Vows wedding planning company, and her love life appears to be thriving. Though men swarm around her, she still hasn't found Mr. Right. And the last place she's looking is right under her nose.
But that's just where Jack Cooke is. He's so close to the women of Vows that he's practically family, but the architect has begun to admit to himself that his feelings for Emma have developed into much more than friendship. When Emma returns his passion-kiss for blistering kiss-they must trust in their history...and in their hearts.
This was a wonderful book. I think Emma is my favorite female character in this set of books. Jack was very sexy, but my favorite guy is still Carter. This was a perfect read to get rid of the winter blahs. It was full of colorful flowers and you can just imagine the scents from all the floral arrangements and the gardens on the estate. This is just a wonderful good old fashion romance with just enough conflict to make the story interesting.
