Oh my goodness, this book, I mean this book! It is just one of the best books I've read in the last year, yes it is bleak and cold but what a story, what characters, Ree, this girl, has just so much strength and resolve and grit and maturity and she has to take care of her family in this cold bitter wilderness they live in and the are truly dirt poor and now her father has disappeared and her family may lose their little rundown house they live and the small patch of land it sits on if she doesn't find him and find him fast.
